Hi Community I've the issue that I'm not able to boot kernel (even start installation / setup tools) on my PowerBook G4 (15"@1.6GHz). After starting from CD the kernel starts loading after 5 seconds, than it just turns off the Computer. All I can see is: .... Consoles: Open Firmware console FreeBSD/powerpc Open Firmware loader, Revision 0.1 (root@snap.freebsd.org, Fri Jan 17 11:44 22 UTC 2014) Memory: 2097152KB Booted from: /pci@f4000000/ata-6@d/disk@1 Loading /boot/defaults/loader.conf /boot/kernel/kernel data=0x93e7fc+0x71260 syms=[0x4+0x80850+0x4+0xd864a] Hit [Enter] to boot immediately, or any other key for command prompt. OK .... Once I enter boot and hit Enter i can see that the Kernel is loading and then it just turns off the Computer. Has somebody experienced similar issue? And if so, how can I get FreeBSD installed? Thanks Regards
