I do understand your concerns.  On the other hand, the sage software
package is designed to be moved around rather than copied.

I'll think about it.

I think it is fair to inform the user that this possibility exists.  I
am sure that most people who actually use the port will want to know
this information.

But maybe I'll add a disclaimer to the effect that this approach is not
guaranteed to work in the future.
