[-- Attachment #1 --] I'm running 9.2-release on a machine and when I try to expand the mirror of two disks with another two disk mirror, I get an error that I cannot add another vdev to the boot pool. I know this used to be an issue some time ago, but I see articles about bypassing the check by unsetting bootfs attribute temporarily. That seems dangerous however and I don't want to create an unbootable array. Is this error really still an error in 9.2? I certainly have a 10.1 system which boots from a 3 vdev array. Do I need to upgrade this system to allow for booting from such an array?
