Hello, I've installed Gnome on FreeBSD and have a font problem. When comparing with my FC3 box, fonts in FreeBSD looks bolder than what they appear in FC3. Font Preference on both machines are set exactly the same. I've tried installing Freetype with and without WITHOUT_TTF_BYTECODE_ENABLED, but it doesn't make any differences. It seems like fonts in FreeBSD take less hinting while in FC3 they're thiner and crisp. Bolder fonts really hurt my eyes. Please, ideas or help would be appreciate= d. Thawatchai Piyawat
