Vbox has changed a lot since then, #1 being it's in the ports tree now. You've not actually related what the core issue is though. vboxnetadp.ko is needed for host-only networking mode, most people don't need this and quite useless for almost anything. Are you aware of this? You also stated " I load vboxnetflt.ko in /boot/loader.conf and load vboxnetadp.ko manually after I've logged in." Do not do this.
