Sorry, I'm not with you. Sufficient for what? I mean it was
a sufficient warning, I just had to heed it then do further 
things to properly depkgbasify.

I wanted to stop using pkgbase completely, without having to go to the 
trouble of a complete reinstall from installation media - a state of 
affairs I'd consider to be a regression. I'm happy to have found
a method of de-pkgbasifying without complete reinstallation.
