I'm looking for a driver for an IBM LAN Entry 8227 card, IBM
part number 92G7787. It is a wireless LAN card that operates in the
2.4GHz range. The core NIC is apparently Intel i82593.

These cards are going for $30 a pop at various places on the net.
I'd like to be able to get them and dewire parts of my house...

That sounds an awful lot like the card the wlp0 driver from the PAO
supports (I never can keep those Intel chip numbers straight), but I
would be really shocked if they were going for $30 each. Although you
might share with us these "various places", please please....
