Hi. My PCMCIA slot stopped working after I upgraded from 4.7 to 5.0 RC1 (and is still not working on 5.0 cvsupped a few hours ago). When I try to run pccardd manually as root I get this: pccardd[541]: fatal error: no PC-CARD slots I emailed the list earlier, but I failed to mention that error. I'm assuming it is no longer recognizing my Pcmcia device (not the card). The Cardbus controller is a Texas Instruments PCI1410. pciconf reports: cbb0@pci2:6:0: class=0x060700 card=0xb1030e11 chip=0xac50104c rev=0x01 hdr=0x02 vendor = 'Texas Instruments (TI)' device = 'PCI1410 PC card cardBus Controller' class = bridge subclass = PCI-CardBus Dmesg (sorry I wasn't 100% which sections were relevant): real memory = 536215552 (511 MB) avail memory = 513986560 (490 MB) Initializing GEOMetry subsystem Pentium Pro MTRR support enabled npx0: <math processor> on motherboard npx0: INT 16 interface acpi0: <PTLTD RSDT > on motherboard ACPI-0625: *** Info: GPE Block0 defined as GPE0 to GPE15 ACPI-0625: *** Info: GPE Block1 defined as GPE16 to GPE31 Using $PIR table, 11 entries at 0xc00fdf10 acpi0: power button is handled as a fixed feature programming model.
