I'll answer myself; For the first test, I didn't succeed. By just following the instructions, I got to "i4b_ipr.c" during compile of the kernel. I haven't had the time to look more into it, but this is the last part of the kernel-compile: cc -O2 -Werror -Wall -Wmissing-prototypes -Wstrict-prototypes -I. -I../../../../arch -I../../../.. -nostdinc -DEXEC_AOUT -DEXEC_SCRIPT -DI486_CPU -DUSER_LDT -DXSERVER -DINSECURE -DKTRACE -DSYSVMSG -DSYSVSEM -DSYSVSHM -DLKM -DDIAGNOSTIC -DDDB -DCOMPAT_NOMID -DCOMPAT_09 -DCOMPAT_10 -DCOMPAT_11 -DCOMPAT_12 -DCOMPAT_43 -DCOMPAT_SVR4 -DCOMPAT_IBCS2 -DCOMPAT_LINUX -DCOMPAT_FREEBSD -DEXEC_ELF32 -DFFS -DEXT2FS -DLFS -DMFS -DNFS -DCD9660 -DMSDOSFS -DFDESC -DKERNFS -DNULLFS -DPORTAL -DPROCFS -DUMAPFS -DUNION -DNFSSERVER -DFIFO -DGATEWAY -DINET -DMROUTING -DNS -DISO -DTPIP -DEON -DCCITT -DLLC -DHDLC -DNETATALK -DTEL_S0_8 -DTEL_S0_16 -DTEL_S0_16_3 -DAVM_A1 -DUSR_STI -DTEL_S0_16_3_P -DCTX_S0_P -DDRN_NGO -DIPR_VJ -DMAXUSERS=32 -D_KERNEL -Di386 -c ../../../../i4b/driver/i4b_ipr.c ../../../../i4b/driver/i4b_ipr.c: In function `i4biprioctl': ../../../../i4b/driver/i4b_ipr.c:493: structure has no member named `if_unit' *** Error code 1 If you have quick tips (like "you have to review all patches -this will be much work"), please give it to me. I'll start working on it as soon as time allows.
