Hi Remy, Although I can't answer your question as it pertains to portmaster, but I CAN let you know that there's a port called vim-lite, which has no gui by default. Unfortunately, it can't be custom compiled to include any of the other optional modules (like Python support), but I figured I'd let you know just in case this fits your usage model.
