--0000000000003ab71006082dc39b Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" I'm running FreeBSD 13.2 on i386 on my mail server. Some time ago, I built sendmail from ports because "stock" sendmail didn't support TLS (apologies if I have the wrong terminology). Is it still true that stock sendmail doesn't support TLS? In other words, must I continue to build sendmail from ports if I want START_TLS etc. to work? Thanks, Bill Dudley amateur FreeBSD sysadmin (for 20 years) This email is free of malware because I run Linux. --0000000000003ab71006082dc39b Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr">I'm running FreeBSD 13.2 on i386 on my mail server.<di= v><br></div><div>Some time ago, I built sendmail from ports because "s= tock" sendmail<div>didn't support TLS (apologies if I have the wro= ng terminology).</div><div><br></div><div>Is it still true that stock sendm= ail doesn't support TLS?=C2=A0 In other words,</div><div>must I continu= e to build sendmail from ports if I want START_TLS etc.</div><div>to work?<= /div><div><br></div><div>Thanks,</div><div>Bill Dudley</div><div>amateur Fr= eeBSD sysadmin (for 20 years)<br clear=3D"all"><div><div dir=3D"ltr" class= =3D"gmail_signature" data-smartmail=3D"gmail_signature">This email is free = of malware because I run Linux.</div></div></div></div></div> --0000000000003ab71006082dc39b--
