On one of my machines,
While running
#  portmaster -tf xfce-4.10
>>

I get a major error and everything comes to a screeching halt :(

I get a bad gid on my own username and last line I see is

pwd_mkdb: /mnt/etc/master.passwd: Inappropriate file type or format

How can I get around this?
Googling I find:

http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-questions/2009-November/208310.html

but the advice there does not help :(

I wonder what has happened and how I can fix it, if there is something
to try out?

Thanks && Best Regards,

Antonio
