I fixed it by upgrading my VM to 8GB System RAM. I had this issue first with Hetzer’s Cloud Infra and later I could reproduce the issue in my local environment with (bhyve,VirtualBox) VMs with less then 8GB RAM using FreeBSD 12.x, FreeBSD 13.x with MySQL 8.x from packages. So I would suggest to upgrade the RAM of your Server/VM and repeat the upgrade procedure of MySQL. Best regards and success Danielhome | help
