I currently have FreeBSD 5.2.1 installed on an IBM xSeries 235. I have HHP Dolphin scanners that dial into a radius server (modem pool) which uses rlogin to transfer the scanner upload files to the IBM server. I am using .hushlogin to suppress motd, but am still having issues with the 'Last login:...' appearing. I have searched your documentation and found the bug fix at http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=51165

The bug fix references that I need to update /usr/src/usr.bin/login/login.c. My problem is I can't find that file anywhere. I only have a sys directory in /usr/src. I've done a locate for login.c and found nothing. First, I'm confused about the usr.bin syntax. Is that the actual name of the directory? Second, how do I fix the 'Last login:...' bug if I can't find the login.c file?

This is a HUGE problem that I need to resolve in very short order. It is for one of our biggest customers. If you could get back to me ASAP, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you,
Alex
