I'm trying to recover as much data as possible from a vinum partition that was on top of a faulty hd. To make sure vinum doesn't wipe anything accidentally, I'd like to get access to it as a normal fbsd partition or slice. Is it possible to tell dd to read the vinum partition, skip N amount of blocks (the vinum header), and have a normal FreeBSD partition or slice left? -- Frank Tobin http://www.neverending.org/~ftobin/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
