Let's say that I have a large window open (Netscape, for example). And I
have a small fxtv window in the FOREGROUND open, watching tv. When I move
it to the background (i.e. bring Netscape to the foreground), sometimes
a small portion of the TV screen remains painted on the Netscape window.
(Doing a "refresh desktop" in KDE clears it all up).

Is this happening to anyone else?

I saw a recent discussion on -multimedia about X and window
hiding/unhiding (or something like that), but I admit I didn't pay much
attention to it. Is this what you guys were talking about?

PS: My hardware consists of: Pentium 133 with 32 MB RAM, VIA 586VP chipset
(I think it's the Apollo), FreeBSD 2.2.6-RELEASE, generic clone Bt848 card
(the driver identifies as Miro TV with with Temic NTSC tuner), fxtv 0.46,
ATI 3D Pro Turbo PC2TV video chip (Mach64/RageII+DVD).
