I have found that asking a "stupid" question sometimes gets an answer that is quite surprising and totally worth the question. Since I can't predict ahead of time which answers are easy and which are surprising I just don't worry about it. I'd rather people think I'm stupid because of my questions over the alternative of being quietly ignorant. At least if I ask then I learn something. -- Kevin P.
