Tuesday update: - A personal desktop (nVidia) update went fine. Also went through 'delete-old-libs' and no COMPAT_FREEBSD14 in kernel, thus rebuild a lot of packages. - A small home router update went fine, kept old libraries to not rebuild packages. Kerberos clients were tested to migrate successfully, but some scripting needs to be adjusted, e.g. kinit(1) syntax is different. A Kerberos controller doesn't yet have a migration path. If updating a machine that runs kdc, you need to stick to old Heimdal. To achieve that you need WITHOUT_MITKRB5="yes" in your /etc/src.conf. Some software may need configuration tweaks due to OpenSSL upgrade. If you got a non-default /etc/ssl/openssl.cnf, some deprecated options may also fail. The performance & stability A/B testing at Netflix just started and we expect to have results tomorrow. I will be AFK for the rest of the week, and thus passing responsibility for the stabweek on Olivier Cochard olivier@. He will update on the A/B test results, collect any success/failure reports and close the week. -- Gleb Smirnoff [-- Attachment #2 --] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iHUEABYKAB0WIQT+rgtjiRzq3LbQ3Nn+/1jAXQXMIgUCaK3vsgAKCRD+/1jAXQXM IrZIAP9CFVoileZ8F6Di+X/+MXeCHALaT3CPdBIb+hsdUzApJwD/aRYFvORLKhyw fPIV3JC6GYv07HPWMwHMiq3RjTKWWwI= =/6nb -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----home | help
