Thanks Joe, the installation went a bit farther.

As you can see in make.log, now there is a problem regarding  orbit or bonob=
o.

"Requires:" section of gnumeric on www.freebsd.org reads:
Requires: ORBit-0.5.12, XFree86-3.3.6_10, bonobo-1.0.17 ...

On my system, there are:
