https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=242495 Bug ID: 242495 Summary: The native version of Opera needs to be removed from the FreeBSD handbook Product: Documentation Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Documentation Assignee: doc@FreeBSD.org Reporter: ultimateninjamaster948@gmail.com As many of you know, Opera switched from their own browser engine to Blink a while back. When they did this, support for FreeBSD ceased. The latest version of Opera that is available for FreeBSD natively is 12.16 ... which is extremely outdated. It is not wise to instruct people to use a web browser from 2013. I recommend that the native version of the Opera web browser stop being recommended in the FreeBSD handbook, and only the Linux version of Opera should be recommended going forward. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.help
