https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=245604 Bug ID: 245604 Summary: x11-servers/xorg-server will link with HAL if installed Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Keywords: patch Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: x11@FreeBSD.org Reporter: mi@FreeBSD.org Assignee: x11@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(x11@FreeBSD.org) Created attachment 213376 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=213376&action=edit Explicitly disable HAL. Remove obsolete --with-shared-memory-dir flag. Although HAL-support is removed from the port, the upstream code will still link with HAL (and expect it at runtime), if installed on the building machine. Depending on one's other configurations, this may prevent the Xorg from ever seeing the keyboard events, for example. Also, the --with-shared-memory-dir is no longer a recognized configure-argument. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
