https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=264238 Bug ID: 264238 Summary: WiFi stops working after upgrade from 13.0 to 13.1, AR9285 Product: Base System Version: 13.1-RELEASE Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: wireless Assignee: wireless@FreeBSD.org Reporter: jiangjun12321@yahoo.com I used to run 13.0-release on my laptop without any problems connecting to WiFi networks with or without a password. But after upgrading to 13.1 release. Network stops working if I connect to WiFi without a password. It's a Qualcomm Atheros AR9285 wireless network adapter. My office network is a WiFi without password authentication. Instead, after I connect to it a login site will be opened and I'll have to input my username and password there and then connect. Also, the network remembers so if I reboot or leave and come back soon I don't have to login again, it just connect and work. But none of that works in 13.1. I created a boot environment for 13.0 before upgrade and now if I reboot into 13.0 BE my network still works flawlessly. I confirm /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf, /etc/rc.conf and /etc/sysctl.conf are identical between 13.0 and 13.1. More information will be added if needed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
