https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=278409 Bug ID: 278409 Summary: [ukbd] kinesis freestyle2 keyboard does not work Product: Base System Version: 14.0-RELEASE Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: kern Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: asomers@FreeBSD.org Created attachment 250026 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=250026&action=edit output of usbconfig dump_all_desc I have a Kinesis Freestyle2 keyboard. It works in the boot loader, but with the ukbd driver it does not work at all. I can only get it to work by using the usbhid driver. dmesg suggests that the keyboard thinks that it has a builtin mouse, probably because it has a key for "right click". Is there any way to make this work with ukbd? from dmesg: ugen0.6: <Kinesis Kinesis Freestyle2 PC - KB800> at usbus0 usbhid3 on uhub2 usbhid3: <Kinesis Kinesis Freestyle2 PC - KB800, class 0/0, rev 2.00/1.31, addr 5> on usbus0 hidbus3: <HID bus> on usbhid3 ... hkbd1: <Kinesis Kinesis Freestyle2 PC - KB800 Keyboard> on hidbus3 kbd3 at hkbd1 hms1: <Kinesis Kinesis Freestyle2 PC - KB800 Mouse> on hidbus3 hms1: 5 buttons and [XYWH] coordinates ID=2 hcons2: <Kinesis Kinesis Freestyle2 PC - KB800 Consumer Control> on hidbus3 hgame0: <Kinesis Kinesis Freestyle2 PC - KB800 Gamepad> on hidbus3 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
