https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=286279 Bug ID: 286279 Summary: route ipv6 errors on bootup in 15.0-CURRENT when world/kernel built without INET6 support Product: Base System Version: 15.0-CURRENT Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: bin Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: nxjoseph@protonmail.com Hi, I have upgraded my system from 14.2-REL to 15.0-CUR with WITHOUT_INET6 in /etc/src.conf. In bootup, I see this output below. route: message indicates error: File exists add host 127.0.0.1: gateway lo0 fib 0: route already in table route: bad keyword: inet6 route: usage: route [-j jail] [-46dnqtv] command [[modifiers] args] route: bad keyword: inet6 route: usage: route [-j jail] [-46dnqtv] command [[modifiers] args] route: bad keyword: inet6 route: usage: route [-j jail] [-46dnqtv] command [[modifiers] args] route: bad keyword: inet6 route: usage: route [-j jail] [-46dnqtv] command [[modifiers] args] route: bad keyword: inet6 route: usage: route [-j jail] [-46dnqtv] command [[modifiers] args] There was a thread in mailing list that has temporary fix which is building the kernel without ipv6 support completely. Here is the mail: https://lists.freebsd.org/archives/freebsd-current/2024-January/005287.html I saw that there were no opened bugs about it and i created this now. I hope this isn't a duplicate.
