https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=287064 Bug ID: 287064 Summary: ports-mgmt/pkg pkg info -D pkgname doesn't display the pkg message Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: pkg@FreeBSD.org Reporter: void@f-m.fm Flags: maintainer-feedback?(pkg@FreeBSD.org) Assignee: pkg@FreeBSD.org Hi, # pkg --version 2.1.3 # un FreeBSD 15.0-CURRENT #0 n276073-67c1c4dfd1cc: Wed Mar 26 16:26:10 GMT 2025 pkg info -D pkgname doesn't work as expected. I'm expecting what was in eg: /usr/ports/shells/bash/files/pkg-message.in to be properly rendered and displayed. Instead, this happens: # pkg info -D shells/bash bash-5.2.37: Same goes seemingly for any installed package. (well, same as ftp/curl and devel/ccache4, I didn't test them all). ccache4 was from freebsd pkg repository. bash was built in poudriere. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
