In the following example both 10.0.5.1 and fc00::1 are assigned to ix0: $ ping -c 1 -S 10.0.5.1 127.0.0.1 PING 127.0.0.1 (127.0.0.1) from 10.0.5.1: 56 data bytes 64 bytes from 127.0.0.1: icmp_seq=0 ttl=64 time=0.358 ms --- 127.0.0.1 ping statistics --- 1 packets transmitted, 1 packets received, 0.0% packet loss round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 0.358/0.358/0.358/0.000 ms $ ping6 -c 1 -S fc00::1 ::1 PING(56=40+8+8 bytes) fc00::1 --> ::1 --- ::1 ping statistics --- 1 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100.0% packet loss -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
