https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=294429 Bug ID: 294429 Summary: PC crashes when trying to connect to wifi using rtw89 driver Product: Base System Version: 15.0-RELEASE Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: wireless Assignee: wireless@FreeBSD.org Reporter: spaciouscoder78@disroot.org Hi, I installed FreeBSD 15 Release on my thinkpad e14. I have a wlan card Realtek 8852BE Wi-Fi 6 (RTL8852BE) that is officially supported according to the documentation. Upon installing the OS, the OS didn't detect my wifi card at first but eventually did later somehow. Now the problem at hand is that when I try to connect to wifi or enable it by typing 'ifconfig wlan0 up scan' as root, the entire system freezes, crashes and reboots without any kernel panic message. i checked dmesg output but it said my wlan0 driver loaded just fine. I'm not sure what the problem is and how to fix it. I can provide any logs if necessary. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
