https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=295727 Bug ID: 295727 Summary: git manpage should include 'cd to /usr' before the git command at start of the manpage is issued. Product: Documentation Version: Latest Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Manual Pages Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: luke_force@outlook.com CC: doc@FreeBSD.org I did a memstick install and cliked on the internet install in my laptop (lenovo T520). The ports directory did not install. I read the ports manpage to fix and install the ports. After entering the command with git, while in my home directory, the screen printed the progress, but I could not find /usr/ports. Only after I changed directory to /usr (and the manpage failed to indicate this move) and issued the same command, was ports installed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.home | help
