This happened to us twice during our evaluation of a BayNet 100bT switch. I think we'll stick to the DEC-based cards. By the way, the fxp driver isn't terribly well documented, and I don't see an obvious way to force 100Mbps vs 10, or full duplex vs half except possibly by recompilation.
