Picture it: an HP LaserJet with an ethernet card on a small DOS/Windows network. The company would like to install a FreeBSD box running 2.0.5-RELEASE (to do some other work), and allow it to access the printer. Is there any software available that can handle this? If there's a problem with making sure only one box uses the printer at a time, it's perfectly acceptable to have the FreeBSD machine be the only system driving the printer (ie, route the DOS/Windows print jobs through the FreeBSD machine). Any suggestions/comments would be greatly appreciated. -- Rich Kuhns rjk@grauel.com PO Box 6249 100 Sawmill Road Lafayette, IN 47903 (317)477-6000 x319
