I've read the newbus page on freefall, the man pages and the code and i still do not know where to start and how this all fits together. More, i think that core should make it mandatory for such dramatic changes to the architecture, that this kind of changes are properly and completely documented either before or at least within a fixed timeframe from the time such changes are commited to the tree. Don't get me wrong, it seems that the authors did a great job and i appreciate it very much! Anyway, i don't think you are asking for too much - of what use is a shiny new design of a new subsystem in the very basic FreeBSD architecture if just some handful few people knew how it works and how to use it ? hellmuth -- Hellmuth Michaelis Tel +49 40 559747-70 HCS Hanseatischer Computerservice GmbH Fax +49 40 559747-77 Oldesloer Strasse 97-99 Mail hm [at] hcs.de 22457 Hamburg WWW http://www.hcs.de To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
