Sincerely yours, John M Reuschlein > > You can compile it from the FreeBSD current branch any time you want. - From the project's Web site: 3 July, 2002 : This page has been significantly updated. FreeBSD/PowerPC currently boots almost to the point of reaching single-user mode. As you can see, that statement is quite dated. Is it still "almost... reaching single-user mode?" I've been interested in running FreeBSD/ppc on my 17" PowerBook G4---in multi-user mode, of course. Is this possible at this point, or am I just fantasizing? ;-) Cheers! - -- Anthony Chavez http://www.anthonychavez.org/ mailto:acc@anthonychavez.org jabber:acc@anthonychavez.org -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (Darwin) iD8DBQFATkb8bZTbIaRBRXERAng/AJ4w4wb0qMBrRZwDsf3BBvjz69fZSACfXuc2 BrBs91jRNlYAtEFfcqXxaQo= =wUBd -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----help
