Hi I am trying to configure a Pentium II PC with 5 PCI slots as a router with 5 Intel Ether Express Pro 100/B Ethernet cards as interfaces. In the kernel config file I have made entries for device fxp0 device fxp1 device fxp2 device fxp3 device fxp4 and rebuild/rebooted the kernel. All devices seem to auto-detect but when I connect them to networks and configure IP address I only seem to have fxp[0-2] working OK (I can ping to/from these interfaces to/from another host on the same subnet). Has anyone any insights/experiences as to why my fxp[3-4] do not work.
