In a few minutes, I will remove the lpt(4) driver from the -CURRENT
source tree.

The reason for this removal is that the lpt driver has been obsoleted
by the ppc, nlpt, plip and ppi drivers, and was starting to rot.

Anybody who has not yet done so is advised to update their kernel
configurations to use Nicolas Souchu's excellent ppbus driver instead.
Here's what I have in my kernel configuration:

device ppc0 at isa? port? net irq 7
controller ppbus0
device nlpt0 at ppbus?
device plip0 at ppbus?
device ppi0 at ppbus?

For details on ppbus, see the man pages.

BE ADVISED that the nlpt driver will soon be renamed to lpt.
