Would 'a few years' likely include 5.5-STABLE?  Which file/s will tell?

I've no reachable neighbours so far, but I've set it up and run it once
or twice in anticipation of both geekier neighbours and better kit ..

<ot> suppose you'll have come across https://www.open-mesh.net/batman ? 
If so, have you any thoughts on their rather savage dissing of olsrd as
it stands, and apparent greater success with seeming raw, seat-of-pants,
scarcely documented but possibly real-world-practical algorithms? </ot>
