Hi Ed,

Could this maybe use ${MAKEFILE} or .MAKE.MAKEFILES, e.g.,  =
${.MAKE.MAKEFILES:[0]}, instead?

IIRC meta mode might take care of this automatically, but bdrewery could =
answer this definitively.
