I like this!

Question:  Do we have any namespace pollution issues here; i.e. should
&current; be something like &os.current;?  Or is this not a factor?

Just for the record, I dreamed it up; I am too ignorant about mdoc(7) to
take ideas from it, good as they are.  Originally I thought it'd be good
for typesetting FreeBSD in other font or whatever.
