Hi Warner - well, I have good and bad news. The good news is that it
compiles and boots wonderful. It boots into single-user mode just fine,
and it looks like it works great. Plugging and unplugging the card
produces the right result; no more "card inserted, slot 1" messages,
unlike the old code. It seems like it is doing the right thing. The bad
news is this: as soon as pccardd starts up the kernel crashes hard. It
seg faults and cannot sync. It looks like you are on the right path,
though... Let me know if you think I am doing something wrong.
