Sure.  I thought the answer went to the whole list.  The command is 
'xp'

which  simply deletes a letter, advances the cursor, and then 'p'
pastes the letter back in.  In standard vi style,  the lowercase
command inserts on one side of the cursor, and the uppercase on the
other.
So, 'xp' transposes, while 'xP' puts it back where it was.
