My packet traces show that FreeBSD 4.5 TCP connections conatin TCP timestamp option in the TCP header. So, the TCP/IP header size is 52 bytes (instead of 40) most of the time. Is there a reason for including the timestamp option on most of the TCP packets? _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp.
