Thanks to all those who pointed out that the default rule for IPFW had 
changed to deny rather than accept.  Like most of these problem, in 
retrospect, it should've been obvious...

I will admit that I liked the old way of being able to set the policy, 
rather than have it set for me, but I can re-write my rules.
