How on earth do you folks deal with the problem of people who are infected to the point of insanity with the idea that computers crash all the time? How do you convince a person whos only experience of computers is Microslop software that you an operating system shouldn't crash unless there's some hardware problem? Or that just because a PC happily runs Win '95 that it doesn't mean it'll function as a high-volume mail hub or web cache? How do you get though to people that replacing one lot of crap memory with another lot of equally crap memory from the same supplier doesn't mean that it "must now be a software problem" when it still doesn't work? Oh well. I think I'll just go for another ultra-cynical .sig and get back into my box.
