This reminds me of a discussion I had with a manager at a company I develo=
ped IBM mainframe software at=2E His point was this exactly, in order to re=
duce expenses through the reduction of staff=2E Given the "staff" on the Fr=
eeBSD project are all volunteers, the vast majority of which work on projec=
ts/code of our choosing,  I don't see your point=2E
