Okay,

Thank you all for the excellent suggestions. The final draft
has come to this. Pretty much half the paragraph comes from Warren
Block's suggestions with a few changes by me and Gary W. Swearingen.

"Send mail to &a.portmgr;, listing the reasons for the repository
copy request. If &a.portmgr approves it, &a.cvs; will do a repository
copy from the old to the new location and/or name."

This 1st part is ready and clean cut. "send mail" is
preferred over either e-mail or mail since we've already used in
other places. I personally prefer it over e-mail cause it is one
less case of computer language verbalization (which I use a lot but
this is a formal documentation). :) But that's just me. heheh

Also, I prefer "from the old to the new location and/or
name" because it is not limitted to term port, it can also be about
other parts of the ports repository. Furthermore, it can be to
another name (renamed), to another location (new category) or both.

And, I used a 'it' to avoid repeating terms since we're
already repeating "repository copy" twice.

The 2nd part is the problematic one. :) That's what I have
so far.

"You will receive a notification when everything is done. Then,
you're expected to perform the following steps:"

I like perform because it is the committer's duty to perform
those steps. And I prefer 'following' but I could use 'these'. Not
a problem. Moreover, I prefer to leave email out, just mentioning
a notification.

What do you guys think? The 1st part is good. Perhaps
we could change the 2nd part. I'll commit it as it is if I hear
nothing from anyone. :) Thanks a lot. This is way better than the
1st draft I proposed.

	Regards,
