: Colloquial language is fun and all, but this does seem a : little excessive. It also makes translation a little harder too. How many non-english speakers could translate: "People thinking of using foo should put the crack pipe down." or "The cluefully challanged may think this a good idea." or "Junto? Nah, tain't time." I can tell you that I can translate "normal polite" Japanese better than I can translate informal or colloquial Japanese.
