Yes, it consistently hides (or worse, discards) useful information - be it= =20 status messages, errors or otherwise. Most distros don't bother about the=20 possible return codes of each service in detail either, so every condition= =20 that could occur is reduced to [ok] or [failed]. Even the NT eventlog isn't= =20 that dumb. =2D-=20 ,_, | Michael Nottebrock | lofi@freebsd.org (/^ ^\) | FreeBSD - The Power to Serve | http://www.freebsd.org \u/ | K Desktop Environment on FreeBSD | http://freebsd.kde.org --nextPart2578463.9CGsA4t2qK Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQBCcAh/Xhc68WspdLARAuExAJ4mh0xF/Y9pwXEkfEkdxqcymMrslgCeLtE+ AHeiPLK49UJDoNRsoLrJq1I= =cobL -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart2578463.9CGsA4t2qK--
