Strange, maybe its something else, such as power related?
I have a WG511T and am on 6.0RC1 / AMD64 laptop, I haven't noticed any 
problems.
I am using WPA mode via DHCP and have been using my laptop every day for 
the last week and the laptop has been running non-stop.
