Dear Harold, you can install a FreeBSD system of your own, if you can
spare a few Mb's in a primary partition of your disk(s).

The installation process, and a lot of other useful things are
described in the FreeBSD hanbook <http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/>.

When you have installed your FreeBSD system, you will find a wealth of
information at the FreeBSD home page <http://www.freebsd.org/>,
especially under the links "Documentation" and "Mailing lists".

Oh, and you can always post questions to freebsd-questions@freebsd.org
(note that reading the list descriptions over at freebsd.org will
always help you where to post a mail of yours, without sounding utterly
off-topic).

Ciao, and if you install a FreeBSD box... welcome aboard.
