--CUfgB8w4ZwR/yMy5 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline I figured out what the problem was. There was a '.' on a line by itself from the stuff I pasted in. Erp. I swear, that is the first time that has ever happened to me. I may have found an error of sorts in the wi(4) man page. It says that the Compaq WL110 wireless card has a PRISM-II chipset, thus this entry: Compaq WL110 Prism-II PCMCIA However, when I inserted the card, I get: Sep 9 21:48:21 nineveh pccardd[51]: Card "Compaq"("Compaq WL110 PC Card") [Vers ion 01.01] [] matched "Compaq" ("Compaq WL110 PC Card") [(null)] [(null)] Sep 9 21:48:26 nineveh /kernel: wi0 at port 0x240-0x27f irq 3 slot 0 on pccard0 Sep 9 21:48:26 nineveh /kernel: wi0: 802.11 address: 00:02:a5:6e:16:09 Sep 9 21:48:26 nineveh /kernel: wi0: using Lucent Technologies, WaveLAN/IEEE Sep 9 21:48:26 nineveh /kernel: wi0: Lucent Firmware: Station 6.16.01 Sep 9 21:48:26 nineveh pccardd[51]: wi0: Compaq (Compaq WL110 PC Card) inserted ..which, to my eye, sure looks like a Lucent/Hermes chipset. Am I not seeing something, or is something wrong? -j ---------------------------------------------- /* You are not expected to understand this. */ Captain_Tenille http://www.satanosphere.com/ jeremy@satanosphere.com --CUfgB8w4ZwR/yMy5 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQE/X1wYz9BfgBOfXn0RAiRdAKDuPgOqAW3wobKQI5JJloRBVPFdSQCgraoV 8c8Zu7ILKYcidaQmc+xPAPs= =sC+n -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --CUfgB8w4ZwR/yMy5--
