Windows you have to pay a fortune for, its unreliable, insecure the list is
endless. Plus you try a configure windows with ics to route between several
interfaces...

Not to mention that (i'm guessing on this one correct me if im wrong)
routers were probably around long before, windows?

telnet sends data over the wire in clear text, where as ssh uses encryption
(cipher text)
